Register of Civilian Aircraft

07/07/2009. Signed the working agreement between the CAA SMR and the European Agency for Aviation Safety (EASA). It is an important step for the Authority of the Republic of San Marino for adapting technically to European standard and become rapidly member country of the Agency. Through this agreement it will be possible for the Authority to attend, with its own director, the technical meetings of EASA.

09/06/2009. Signed the cooperation agreement between the CCA SMR and the Italian National Agency for Flight Safety (ANSV) in the investigation for accidents involving aircraft registered in San Marino.

01/03/2009. The Ing. Marco Conti is the new General Director of CAA-SMR. He replaces David Gasperoni to which the State Congress did not renew the assignement. On our behalf, best wishes for your work.

29/01/2009. Cpt. Michelotti Dennis is the new chairman of the Aeronautical Federation in San Marino (FAS). He succeeds the resigning Gianfranco Terenzi elected Great and General Council. To C.te Michelotti, on our part, the best wishes for a good job.

26/06/2008. All voted unanimously yesterday in Paris the admission of the Republic of San Marino to the Conference of the European Civil Aviation (ECAC). The admission follows on previous visits made successfully by the technicians at San Marino. Today more than 100 aircraft are registered in the San Marino Aeronautical Register.

15/10/2007. The Secretary General of the ECAC, Mr. Gerry Lumsden, and President Mr. Luis A. Fonseca de Almeida, are on an official visit at government agencies in San Marino. The audit is in preparation for the next entry of the Republic of San Marino as a Member State of that organization.
